Additionally, this DSE 7410 module controls the parameters and alarms of the engine and the alternator.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3864\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3864\" style=\"width: 580px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3864 lazyload\" data-src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/1_inmesol-power-european-commissions-headquarters-berlaymont-brussels.jpg\" alt=\"INMESOL stand-by generator set, model II-110\" width=\"580\" height=\"450\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 580px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 580\/450;\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3864\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">INMESOL stand-by generator set, model II-110<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <strong>power output<\/strong> is enabled for independent connection with the <strong>load<\/strong> that supplies the genset, and it also includes an external <strong>load bank<\/strong> for the usual power <strong>tests<\/strong> performed <strong>regularly<\/strong> on emergency or backup equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>network monitoring <\/strong>feature is carried out by an <strong>ATS<\/strong> panel with a <strong>DSE 335<\/strong> control unit that detects when a <strong>mains failure<\/strong> occurs and sends a <strong>start-up signal<\/strong> to the <strong>engine<\/strong> of the genset. Berlaymont building aerial view<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <strong>Berlaymont<\/strong> building is located at <strong>Schuman<\/strong> square, known as the \u201c<strong>European neighbourhood,<\/strong>\u201d and was <strong>built in the 60s<\/strong> to be the <strong>European Commission\u2019s headquarters<\/strong>. It was vacated in 1994 to be rebuilt, due to the presence of <strong>asbestos<\/strong> in its original construction. It <strong>became operational again in 2004<\/strong> for the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p>It is an impressive <strong>14-floor<\/strong> building with an asymmetric fan shape. It serves as the <strong>headquarters of the European Commission president and commissioners<\/strong>, several departments and <strong>offices<\/strong> also from the European Commission, <strong>press and television rooms<\/strong>, <strong>meeting<\/strong> rooms, an numerous quarters for different purposes, including a restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>The European Commission is an institution that represents and defends the <strong>European Union interests<\/strong> as a whole.
