As the official Inmesol distributor in Thailand, Win Bridge<\/a> sells and installs<\/strong> our generator sets <\/strong>and lighting towers<\/strong> in the country. A few months ago we published an article<\/a> on this blog about the emergency lighting towers<\/strong> acquired by Bangkok International Airport through Win Bridge and now we want to focus on one of the latest generator sets<\/strong> to be installed in the city: a 500 kVA IP-550,<\/strong> an emergency generator synchronised with the mains<\/a>, which is especially designed to work in parallel<\/strong> with the power supply for uninterrupted service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This generator set<\/strong> model is characterised by its advanced electronic control console<\/strong>. In addition to performing a complete inspection of the operational status of the generator set, it detects any failure in the mains electricity supply and, when one occurs, it starts the generator set and closes the contact which allows electricity to flow from the generator set to the load. Likewise, once the mains supply is restored, the control console sends a signal to close the contact with the network and to re-establish the flow of energy to the load. In other words, the electronic control console is synchronised with the mains<\/strong> and directs the switch<\/strong> in such a way that both the mains supply and the generator set remain closed, which gradually decreases the energy supplied with the aim of establishing an uninterrupted supply of electricity while the network is being restored.<\/strong> Once the control console sends the signal to re-open the contact for the generator set, the process is reversed and the equipment returns to stand-by mode.<\/p>\n
