Recently, an Inmesol generator set has been installed at one of the tallest buildings located in the great German port area.

A 110 KVA LTP power emergency set, IV-110 model, with a Volvo engine, has been installed on the roof terrace of the building.
This building, just like rest of the emblematic buildings at the Port of Hamburg area, used to be an old grain silo converted into a business centre. It is 55m high with 15 floors dedicated to offices, and it even has a restaurant.
The generator will be responsible for providing electricity in case of mains failure affecting the lifts or the high pressure water pumps for the fire personnel, as well as the emergency lighting.

The port of Hamburg is the largest port in Germany, and it is amongst the 9 most important ones in the world.
It was founded in 1189 at the confluence of the Elba and Alster rivers. It has been a vital port in Europe due to its privileged location. It is one of the major ports in the world, considering the volume of containers it handles.
