Two Silvers and a Bronze

The pair formed by Miguel Ángel Clemente and Pedro José Verá, the cycling team sponsored by Inmesol sinces 2011, came second in the individual pursuit test with a time of 4:33. They also obtained the silver medal in the kilometre time trial with a standing start with a time of 1:05:700, surpassing their personal best by more than a second. Plus, they took the bronze medal in the sprint test. This triumph will take them to their next date in the competition calendar: the Track World Championship to be held in Mexico (Bicentenary Velodrome in Aguascalientes) from 13th to 15th April. Then, from 17th to 18th May, our champions will head to the Spanish National Time Trial Championship in Ciudad Real.

We send our hearty congratulations to Miguel Ángel Clemente and his guide, Pedro José Vera, for this new triumph, which also gives them points to determine their participation in the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The TándemMurcia won the bronze medal in the London Paralympic Games in 2012 and they are sure to work hard to return to the podium once more in 2016. Good luck, champions!
