Inmesol donates two electric generators to the Government of Ecuador to assist in the reconstruction after the earthquake.
The Consul and Vice Consul of the Latin country in Murcia visited today the facilities of the company to formalize the shipment of the equipment.
The Spanish company of Inmesol, manufacturer of electrical generators located in Corvera – Murcia – Spain, has donated two generators to the Government of Ecuador to assist in the rescue efforts after the devastating earthquake of last April 16th .
José Luis Solano, the president of Solano Group, the business group to which Inmesol belongs, received today the visit of the Consul and Vice Consul of Ecuador in Murcia, Mr. Gustavo Acosta and Mr. Juan Valencia Quiñonez, to formalize donation the two machines.
They are two generators set, AL-700 model of the portable range, with Lombardini diesel engine and electric starter.
Each of the generators is capable of generating 7kVA power and incorporates a transport handle kit with wheels to improve their mobility, allowing the easy transport to the most sensitive areas struck by the earthquake.
The generators will be shortly shipped by air and taken to the earthquake zone at the earliest opportunity under the coordination of the Embassy of Ecuador in Madrid and the authorities responsible for regulating aid on site.
In the words of José Luis Solano, “it’s an act of solidarity to offer the resources we have available to serve people in need, in this case the Ecuadorian people, with whom Inmesol maintains very good business relations.”
For their part, the Consul and Vice Consul of Ecuador in Murcia thanked the gesture of solidarity of Inmesol on behalf of the people they represents.
